Laundry Workers Center is participating in the coalition Justice for Job Seekers, which is a growing group of community-based, advocacy and legal services organizations working to ensure low-wage and immigrant workers have fair access to good jobs when using employment agencies. On May 22nd, the coalition with Democrat assembly-person Francisco Moya called for a crackdown on fraudulent employment agencies.
