Fighting against gender discrimination and Wage Theft!

On April 19th, workers from Liberato Restaurants launched their campaign against gender discrimination and wage theft. According to the workers, “for many years they were getting paid below minimum wage and they did not get paid overtime (1 ½) for those hours worked in excess of 40 in a week period.”  At this moment, the workers and the company are engaged in negotiations in order to improve the working conditions  and to recover their money that the company has failed to pay for several years.
